National and Global Day of Prayer and Repentance
This Saturday, September 26, I would like to encourage everyone to pray for America, the situation in our world today and especially for the upcoming election. There has perhaps never been such an urgent need for all of us, as Christians, to stand in intercession for our nation, asking God to "raise up righteousness" and put down wickedness in our society. We are overrun with social ills, addictions, violence, and divisiveness due to lack of trust in our political systems. This prayer rally, including Jonathan Cahn, Anne Graham Lotz, Archbishop Foley Beach and many others will lead thousands in person in prayer on the Mall on Friday night and all day Saturday. Franklin Graham will lead a prayer march from the Lincoln Memorial to the Capitol Building. However, you may participate from home, as this event will be live-streamed at: www.thereturn.org.
2 Chronicles 7:14 says,
'if my people who are called by My Name will humble themselves and pray, and seek my face and turn from the wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.'
Please stand in prayer with the church this Saturday!
