Update on the Salt and Light School
Dear Friends,

We were able to look at a rental property that has great potential! Please pray with us as we negotiate with our internal partners, Asian Hope as they work with us in finding the right place to begin training of teachers. This rental has a suitable building, and is near two unreached Stieng villages. You can help support the Salt and Light School at

We were contacted by Kim Anh, our WLK coordinator when these two little boys, three and five years, from the Hmong ethnic minority tribe, were left abandoned. Their only relative, their grandfather, was arrested and imprisoned for drug trafficking. Unfortunately in these remote areas of Vietnam heroin and meth-amphetamine trafficking has run rampant. WLK didn’t have the means to find housing, but we helped support the boys (who had been left in a house alone) until Kim Anh, working with local Christians found the boys a home! They have now moved to a new foster home, and are beginning a new life. Praise God!

Remember our prayer request for Bao? WLK helped Bao for several months as he was cared for by a kind local Christian. Through Kim Anh, our WLK coordinator and local pastors in this remote part of Vietnam, Bao has been placed with a distant relative, and is now safe and happy.

Thank you to our wonderful donors, prayer partners, and friends. You are a great blessing to us and the children of Vietnam and Cambodia!
Serving Together,
Joni + Gary
